Movie marketer and socialite Seun Egbeegbe, arrested and detained since
Tuesday, November 22, may be paraded by Lagos Police Command under the
leadership of CP Fatai Owoseni today (Thursday, November 24).
According to an Encomium.ng reporter who visited Area F Police Command
on Oba Akinjobi, GRA Ikeja (Lagos), several police sources confirmed
that the controversial film maker will be charged to court for allegedly
stealing 9 iPhone handsets valued at over N2 million.
Seun Egbeegbe was apprehended on Tuesday, November 22, after he
allegedly fled with the phones without paying the sales boy.His defence
that he wanted to fetch the money from his vehicle attracted no sympathy
as he was beaten by a mob. Pictures of bloodied mouth flooded the
Internet.
As the story went viral, he came out with a denial that he was relaxing
at home.But now, he might face a charge of theft with a three year jail
term if found guilty.
We authoritatively gathered that the Commissioner of Police, Fatai
Owoseni interviewed Seun Egbeegbe yesterday (Wednesday, November 23).
