Selena Gomez becomes the first person to reach 100m Instagram followers

Despite her last post being six weeks ago,Selena Gomez has become the most followed celebrity on Instagram.

Gomez's Instagram account became the first to hit the 100-million follower mark this week.

She now tops such fellow celebrity Instagramers as Taylor Swift (91.4 million), Beyonce (85.3 million), Ariana Grande (85 million) and Kim Kardashian West (83.6 million).
